Keeping chickens cool in extreme heat

It's 102 degrees here in SC, with a "feel like" temp of 109 degrees. I decided to run a hose up under the shrubs all day and the chickens love it. They have been paddling in the water all day, and no one is even panting! I do give them frozen water bottles to stand on which they like too. But the water really works!!

Sounds like they are enjoying the water. It also sounds like your chickens are fine and that they love the water, that is a good idea... I might try that. Just make sure they always have plenty of fresh cold water to drink.
