Keeping chickens in the algarve

Any advice on keeping chickens in the Algarve region of Portugal interested to hear maybe from some members already doing this I’m thinking 20 hens 1 cockerel new to this so any advice appreciated

Hi Kwacker1100!

(Sorry for the late reply - I hope you started your flock in the meantime)
I'm also raising chickens in the Algarve!
The main problem we face is the heat - (if you're not into it already) go for single comb (the bigger the better) chicken breeds and some naked necks.
