Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! X2, nobody seems to have figured out a way yet, think the closest was somebody who had motion activated sprinklers.

Welcome to BYC!

When you get this figured out, please share!

Welcome to our flock and enjoy yours!

Thank you. We ended up putting up a fence. Still doesn't work for roosting at night with our bantams. But coop is now in progress. :)

When you have the coop finished - you probably will have to put each one on the roost at dusk until they learn that is where they belong. A lot of bad predators around at night, they are safest locked in their coop.

You also need a fenced run for them so they can't get to your patio. A run cover will keep them from flying out.

That is the plan. But didn't know if we should leave them in the coop and run for a few days or just. Try and round them all at night
