As much as I like my coop and it's location, it's far from ideal as far as having electric fencing for a big run, or dogs around it, or a number of other things that would be nice to have there. It does have shade, electricity, water, and is in a shelter belt planting, all pluses.
And it's on an old building foundation and concrete floor, also good.
Who knows at first who will still be doing this decades later, and who won't? Here we are, chugging along, having a good time (mostly) and trying to help sometimes.
And NEVER AGAIN will we put up a mile of horse fencing!!!
