keeping chickens warm

At the moment the jumpers are nightwear for the feathered fashionistas, with the birds going for the au naturel look during the day.

LMAO-- thats just too funny.

Really. People put clothes on their dogs.
I want some for my chickens!
Esty store, anyone?

Oh my goodness....I need those for my girls!!! I have been telling my husband I am going to dress the chickens....and I don't mean for eating! I don't knit...but I will pay if someone does : )

Just a thought, but might the sweaters actually make them colder by compressing their down feathers so they're not fluffy & don't trap the warm air in? Of course, if the birds are mostly bald because they're newly rescued battery hens, it would probably help to have the extra layer. But for a healthy fluffy chicken, maybe it's just a fashion statement and not for warmth?
