I found the pattern but I do not knit so I have no idea what it all means.... I need to find someone selling them. I swear, I'll buy a dozen if I find someone.

Just a thought, but might the sweaters actually make them colder by compressing their down feathers so they're not fluffy & don't trap the warm air in? Of course, if the birds are mostly bald because they're newly rescued battery hens, it would probably help to have the extra layer. But for a healthy fluffy chicken, maybe it's just a fashion statement and not for warmth?
