I'm not afraid to uproot my life and take a chance.

That's CRAZY! You should probably speak to your orthopedic surgeon, not your PT. Maybe you need a new hip?

It's only tendonitis, thank goodness. It will just take forever to heal.

Or a new physical therapist!

Right? Fingers crossed we both improve from not doing the things that human beings normally do.

I've never actually used it, but used it as a threat against the brat next door after the second vicious attack on my dog by his totally undisciplined lab. I warned him that the next time his monster put my gentle guy in the hospital, he'd be picking his car up from one, too - and drizzled a handful of sugar from my closed fist. The kid was furious and horrified. His father just smiled and told him, "You'll be paying THAT hospital bill, yourself! The kid spent the entire week helping to install a solid, wooden fence!

I wish I could say that I hadn't lost two BYC friends in the last few months. I understand that people move on from the site, but they'll still missed.
