I use disposable diapers on all 12 of my hens and my roo. He wears Huggies "Crawlers" and the rest usually fit into the premie type. Sometimes I have to use duck tape strips to keep them secure. The only problem comes when the girls go to lay their eggs. Quite often the eggs get smashed inside the diaper - and then you have a real mess on your hands. But if they haven't pooped in the diaper yet - I just dump the crushed egg right into a frying pan and pick out the shell - have my self a little snack.

Are we talking putting chickens in diapers?????? That will be a first for me! LOL I have never heard of such. I can't even imagine what a chicken in a dipaer could look like. Are they being kept in the house or outside? Sorry, this is just a new one for me

I have 3 children, horses, and lots of other critters.....poop is a part of life here LOL

Just to make sure everyone realizes, I was totally joking about the diapers, and just joining in the A P R I L F O O LS DAY fun.

If you've every had a pig living in your home like I do, you'd be really comfortable with poop.
