I have been looking through all of the Call duck pens out there and understand the reasoning for keeping them this way. I have seen people keeping Mandarins and call ducks in this manner, usually 4 foot by 8 foot pens and this is easy to make.
What I would like to know is what other breeds can be kept this way and be happy enough to thrive and breed.
Let me know what breeds you keep this way and feel free to post pictures. Usually you see people with large pen with big pond and 20 different breeds of ducks.
Some of my favorites are Ruddy Ducks and Hooded Merganser and was thinking if this would work with a deeper tub that allows them to dive (Like a big Stock Tanks)
