keeping eggs till incubation

I usually keep the eggs in room temperature before incubation and I kept them for seven days and they all hatched but I was wondering about the pros and cons of refrigerating them and was if more people left them at room temperature or refrigerated them.

I read here some were that refrigerated eggs have bad hatch rate and arnt fit for hatching
