Keeping feed fresh

Hey all the info I have on this says too only get small bags as feed could go off after 2/3 months but if kept in an airtight box/tub would it be ok for longer as struggling to find small bag of the feed I want ? X
 
I think if you keep it in an air-tight container in a cool, dry place it should be okay for an additional couple of months. You'll probably want to go with a dark container to keep the light off the feed too. As long as it's not moldy it should be fine. It's just that the nutritional value will reduce as the feed gets older.

Or you can just get more quail so they go through feed faster.
