Keeping Getting Logged Off!

Greetings:

This has been happening to me also over the past few days. I open the site in a tab then open posts in a new tab to read/comment. As you can see in the pic below, I had already written a post. I had to be signed in for the editor to open... Everything on the page indicates that I am signed in.

When I click to post reply, this is the response:

Previously if I've clicked the "back" button on the browser, I'd be signed back in. This time that wasn't the case. So essentially I have to cut and paste the post, then re-sign in and cut and paste it back to post it. I'm using Firefox, and haven't done any browser updates or add on changes anytime recently. Windows 10 did do an update recently but I can't see how that could cause this.

This is not a cache or history issue that I can tell. Was going to send this to @Nifty-Chicken but decided to check here first and see if anyone else was experiencing this.

Have you installed the Firefox update yet to see if that corrects the problem?

That update just now showed up... Wasn't even a factor until today. the log off issue has been with me for about a week.

I'm still getting that sometimes too.
@Latestarter I have found, at least for me, if just log in on the "pop up" that is in the middle of the page, it will stay on that same page and your post is saved (Thank Goodness!) and you can continue from there.
It really is a pain though...I do seem to lose my place and spend quite a bit of time backtracking alerts.

That update just now showed up... Wasn't even a factor until today. the log off issue has been with me for about a week.

The update was released to fix issues that have been reported with that browser.
Install it and see if it fixes the problem you've been having.

This is almost always a problem with how your browser is storing cookies and or cache. It could be a problem with your session, your browser, extensions on your browser, or a million other things.

It's obviously not a sight word problem, or we wouldn't be having thousands of reports about it. So we need to determine why it is isolated to just a few members.

Make sure you have the most recent version of your browser installed. Disable all extensions and add-ons to your browser, and see if the problem persists.

If it does, try another browser and/or computer/device. Like I said, we are not getting many other reports, so it has something to do with whatever combination if things are going on with the members computers that are reporting this problem.
