BYCs thread content that’s been removed? Maybe it’s to expensive to maintain all of that data on their servers?

Many people remove the images they post. Some of it is due to their host site changing their rules. Many posts get deleted for one reason or another. I seriously doubt that it has anything to do with the cost of operating the servers.
