jjthink - you sound like you have even a worse mess than me! Eeee! I wouldn't be happy without my veggie garden. This spring my side yard looked like a satellite image of the Mississippi Delta - it was just ridiculous!
PurpleChicken - what is sweat pdz?
I think I'll try those bags also. That might work since I only have a few girls in there.

Hmmm...if you believe all I do is drink beer and stay oblivious, how do you think I knew about the utter ignorance of Glowbull Wormening in the first place? It wasn't because I "keep drinking beer and stay oblivious", but you go on and keep being one of the sheep, it probably makes you feel safer that way.

Sounds like you *do* need a beer. Don't know where you'll find one hay flavored though or if the Gorebicile will allow you to have it if you do find one.

If it seems you ticked me off a little, it's because you did. If you can't learn to take a joke, don't post your comments like you did.

I'm sidetracking my own thread here, but I have to ask why you are spelling it "Glowbull Wormening". Is there a joke I missed or am not getting?

This question about too much moisture was raised 20 days ago but in case the problem hasn't been solved yet I would bet that if you used deep litter and removed the heater and let the ventilation do its job the moisture problem would go away. If a coop has deep litter, is unheated and has proper ventilation there should be no humidity problem.

And speaking of global warming........I am so disgusted with it. Right now its snowing here.....by the time its done, we will have gotten just about 3 feet in Dec alone. At the rate of this global warming.......We will be able to bring the polar bears here to keep them from extinction

Amy - chickbea - I'm thinking about you and all that water - such troubling changes in the drainage.

If you are finding the changes detract too much from your enjoyment of property and likely also the value of your property, and if you can't think of anything else that could be causing the problem (e.g. more rain than normal) you may want to bring the matter to the attention of the town that approved the development by you. If you want to pursue it, do take some photos if you can and also get written documentation from others that it wasn't like this before the development.

This is not an easy path - I am "drowning" since the development next to me went in and so far still can't get anyone to act responsibly for allowing it to happen - but I don't really have a choice but to try if I want to retain any value to a place I've been paying on for 21 years thus far. Took a bad fall Sunday slipping like on a banana peel in all the water so I hope it doubles my resolve....

Sending good wishes! JJ
