keeping more then one rooster

I think that's a pretty good assumption. All of mine were raised together, and I've read that all over this site.

Phew! I'd hate to get rid of any one bird, although sometimes there's no getting around it. I could have 50 birds and become attached to every one!

Yeah I've ran into that problem a few times over. It makes me feel a little better when I only eat the mean roosters and I sell the nice ones that I have too many of.

You're right. Thankfully most of my birds have been pretty good-natured. One hen was pretty mean but she's gotten better with age.

Well that's good. I haven't had much bad luck with mean roosters, but I did just get some mutt roosters who are most certainly headed to freezer camp.

Well I got them along with a few hens from a friend who just couldn't keep them anymore. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be this mean if they'd been worked with, but I don't think they're going to get any nicer.

Yep and I wouldn't wish a mean rooster on anyone else. Right now they're all in separate cages and they actually bite me when I reach in to feed them.
