Keeping multiple roosters- Need advice from breeders

I have a mature rooster that is a sweetie. I have established that I am alpha. However, at least one of the chicks we hatched out is a rooster for sure. Tonight I noticed that my older guy has a bleeding leg which I will have to try to treat tonight once they go to roost. I'm not sure who got to him but I'm wondering if this means I can't keep two of them or perhaps they are just working on pecking order? Any suggestions? Should I bandage the leg to keep the others from pecking at it?
