I used 2 rolls of 48"x100' orange construction fence and some T-post from menards. Cheap to install, and has worked great. If you don't tear up the fence, you can roll it up and use it next year.

The only downside to that would be my garden area is next to a public road, and my wife doesn't like when I try putting cheap looking things out there for everyone to see. Another girl I have to keep happy.
I forgot to mention I also used posts of course.I used 2 rolls of 48"x100' orange construction fence and some T-post from menards. Cheap to install, and has worked great. If you don't tear up the fence, you can roll it up and use it next year.
It at least looks a little bit nicer. And I guess the height would depend on how flighty your parents are.

Got a love auto correct right?! My parents aren’t so flighty but my mother and father-in-law are a bit. I’ll have to ask him what it is they take. I almost feel like I could use some. LOLMost parents tend to slow down a bit as they age. What kind of vitamins are they taking? Can you send me a bottle?
Also called snow fence.....it's to control the drifting of snow, and I guess sand too.https://www.truevalue.com/sand-fenc...ft?ctplacement=180806-44622122499&cid=gooshop
I've bought it under a different name, can't remember what it's called. But it looks more natural than the plastic netting types and works well.
