Keeping my water from freezing.

i really like R2Elk's dig a hole bigger than your bucket, put bucket in, surround with horse poop, unfortunately i cant do this but i would love to!!
 
To Sourland's point, I use the Fortex rubber bowls for my rabbits and swap them twice per day. Usually you just drop the bowl on the ground and the ice pops out. I use those for the rabbits because they are small and I need so many.

For the fowl, they all use one feeder and one waterer. I use the heated waterer so that they can't knock it over and the ducks can't swim in it. I have about 2 dozen birds and only need to fill the 3 gallon container every other day.
 
I also change the water more frequently. I havent had subzero temps but i have found if you keep the waterers in the sunlight they dont freeze. I change mine once or twice from 730 am until 11am. After that the sun keeps them defrosted so far.
