Keeping out Coyotes

That's very hard to say. Maybe tomorrow, maybe never. Though if it was successful once, it will probably be checking back to see if it can get away with it again. You just need to be vigilant. Perhaps walk the fence line now and then to check for weaknesses. Dogs are about the best deterrent. Whenever I've had an attack, I let the birds out the next day, but I try to keep my eyes and ears open. I don't kid myself though, I know that my coyotes will be checking in. I just don't know when. So as far as turning your birds out, do what you are comfortable with.

Any other ideas on keeping out coyotes? I think I've got most of them, Coyote Rollers, High Fences, Big Dogs, and Frequent Checks on Fences.
