Keeping poultry on wire floor

What do people think of keeping poultry on wire floor pens??

It can be done. It can cause foot, toe problems. You will need to make sure you keep their toe nails clipped since they will not be able to scracth them down naturally.
Do not over crowd can lead to pecking and cannabilsm and feather loss.

these would be show poultry maybe i should put down some wood and shavings ontop the wire
