I'm just wondering what people keep records of with their flocks/animals... It can be any type of animal.

I'm creating a binder with information I feel is necessary, but I want to make sure I didn't forget anything.

If you have links to spreadsheets or anything that you've used that can help that would be wonderful!

We hatch chickens and ducks for meat/layers. We should be getting quail in the next few months for meat/layers.

I'm probably overthinking things, but I want to keep track of...

- who has fertile eggs
- hatch rates
- completed hatches
- chick coloring
- meat chicken weights
- current flock(s)

I don't know what else yet I'm digging online looking for spreadsheets that I can go print a office Max

I'll make you one but the more details you want to keep track of the better.

How many birds do you have right now and can you tell them apart)do you think you could let band them all to keep track of each one with a specific number?

The list can be as detailed as you want.

Are you going to keep breeder birds penned up so you can know for sure who produces what?
With my chickens I know which ones lay each egg, but I doubt I'll be able to know with quail since We want to keep a couple different colors together.

I found a tablet that I forgot I had that has a spreadsheet app on it, but I don't even know how to use it :gigso I'm googling spreadsheets because I'm not smart today

I doubt you will find one but if you do let me know.
I haven't looked for one in years.

I have 7 pullets right now and 2 roosters. I should be adding more once I know what these chicks are. One has had zero fertility every time I've checked her eggs.
