So me and my wife have taken a new step into the homesteading life. My question is can i have silkies in the same run with two female pygmy goats. The run is pretty large so spacing wont be an issue. My fear is the goats stepping on the chickens. Anyone have any experience or advice?

My chickens can go in the goat area. Sometimes there's goat scuffles and chickens need to scatter. Silkies may have trouble doing so. It's one breed I might not mix with goats.

Biggest issue with goats and chickens is that goats can gorge on the chicken feed and it can kill them....and it would be really hard to keep tiny pygmy's out of the feeder.
Best to keep them separate, IMO.

Silkies arent the smartest when it comes to predator/aggressive situations, so you might need to watch out for that.
