Keeping the chickens cool - new video of my coop

We're having a heat wave in New Jersey right now, so I set up a "mister" for my backyard chickens... here's a video of my set-up and my new bantam chicks:

LOL...that Hazel cracked me up!!!

Her "bark" is definitely worse than her bite, but she sure does put on a good show...

Hazel is a nightmare, but she's definitely in the running as one of my favorites. She never got used to be handled, so if she gets out of her run, she takes off like a bat out of h*ll. It takes FOREVER to get her back in. Sophie is clearly the boss, but Hazel picks on everyone... then quickly runs away. None of the other chickens want to hang out with her in the run. I almost feel bad for her, and then I catch her picking on another hen. She doesn't like water, she doesn't like treats, she doesn't like to play... she doesn't like anything but sitting in her nesting box and growling at us. So I just let her do it
