Keeping Track Of Breaking The Record of BYC Members Online At One Time

BYC won't "log you off" automatically, but if you are "idle" (not browsing the forum or posting) for a 15 minute period you will be removed from the users online list.

So, you can be "logged in" but not "online". So, if you want to be counted you need to be doing something on BYC at least once every 15 minutes.

BTW, if it wasn't like this (the 15 minute removal from online) then we'd probably have something like 8,000 members online.
