I put some black oil sunflower seeds in the bottom of a dish and add ice then water. They have to drink to get to the seeds.

I've been giving ice bottles that melt and my chickens go to the bottle beck to drink the ice cold water on purpose they love it and it's been a few summers like that now

I think what's harmful Is the amount of water during the Summer it flushes out their vitamins and can give respiratory issues so that's why electrolytes is given in the water to counter act that issue

I have a broody leghorn in a nesting box and my coop is showing 103. Can I put a frozen bottle of water next to her? I don’t want to cool her down but make it more comfortable. There is an oscillating fan on her

I have put ice bottles behind a fan to pull the cool air. You might try that.
