keet feed medicated

the feed mill in my area has a commercial quail & game bird starter that is medicated.
It has 26% protein and has MONENSIN in it as the medicine.
Is this ok for keets? Never heard of MONENSIN.
anybody think this is bad. I just checked on my momma guinea this morning and i have
one chick hatched out and another one pecking it way out of the shell.
she is sitting on 30 eggs so i guess i have a while go.

I have never heard of medicated game bird starter...have you looked it up and made sure that was what it was? I hope it's ok!

im sure thats what it is. i have it in my barn. my wife bought it today. it says starter for bobwhite quail and gamebirds.

I did use medicated game bird starter for my own keets when I owned guineas, but never heard of that ingredient.
