I have 2 more keets, from different hatches, with slipped tendons. I culled a previous one with the same issue. Thankfully the majority of the keets are fine. I've learned here how fragile keets' legs can be but I'm wondering if it is just bad luck or a genetic issue.

If you are getting multiple keets with slipped tendons it is likely a genetic tendency to it. It is also a possibility of insufficient niacin and thiamine in their feed.

I haven't found thiamine locally yet. I do have Kaytee feed which contains some so I've sprinkled some on their feed for now. I have niacin 500mg tablets but finding conflicting info on dosage and delivery method. They are feed Purina game bird started crumble.

Vitamin B complex contains all the B vitamins including niacin and thiamine. You can prepare it at the rate of 1/2 tablet dissolved in one gallon of water. Make it their only source of water. It should be made fresh daily.
