Hello all,
We live in cenrtal maine and looking for some keets seeming to be a task to find any. Was wondering if anyone here had any advice.
Thanks

see if you have a local poultry swap group? I've seen them at my local swap group. We got fifteen from JM hatcheries, and are very happy with them. Fifteen is the minimum order though, and that's pretty much the smalles minimum order I've found. The brids from JM seem to be of good quality, they were shipped well packed, and an extra was inclueded.

Contact ShadyHollowFarm.com (they are located in Maine). They are breeders of many types of birds, including Guinea Fowl. They may even ship too, if you are too far away to drive and pick up keets.

Keep a close eye on craigslist, that's where I found my hatching eggs and sometimes people have keets. Also, see if there is a livestock/poultry group on facebook for your area. I've found keets there too. You might have a poultry auction in your area too. If you put the word out there that you are looking for keets they will usually notify you if someone has any for sale or at least put you on their mailing list so you can see if any are coming in for sale.

Your can order your Keets through Ideal Poultry Breeding Farms in Texas If I were you I get a few extra. Since you live in Maine and the hatchery is in Texas. I got 4 there very beautiful creatures and take a lot of work if you know anything abut this fine feather babies please share.

Thank you
