The chicks are getting a new food a day. Some are hits, some not. Yesterday was Kefir. Peach flavored ;-)
The ones that like it- LOVE it. The others think I must be trying to poison them. The group that were wild about it- they'd stand around eating it for a minute. Walk away and clean their beak in shavings. Pause. Think for a few seconds then return to the kefir. Funny- that's how I drink it.
Even when they'd finally leave to nap ..... two minutes later they turn to look at the bowl, think on it. And get up to eat some more. Little piggies ;-) If they could lick their lips in delight, they would have.
Today is strawberries again. Those and cherries are big hits. Bananas and apples are yuck.
