"Yes. Good idea. Tell the mares, make sure they keep their young ones close." he instructed her, he seemed almost to be in another world as he stared into the distance.

"Early this morning, something woke me up. I'm not sure what. It was still dark and I decided to walk down to the river. I saw figures run out across the path a ways in front of me, all I could make see were shadows. It looked like three, maybe four horses. I called out, but I got no answering call. I don't think they were Celtics" he explained hurriedly.

"This is bad..." Cynbel frowned.

Okay, So, Merlin got up really really early, and saw some horses running around in the dark. He couldn't make out what they looked like, but he doesn't think they're Celtics.
