wow, not one to be a wet blanket on the GREEN environmental movement....but...
that said, Being green to save carbon footprints is really a scientific pantload....(so sez 1,300 scientists). The idea of planting a tree to offset carbon footprint (CF) well, its been going on for years........over 25 yrs. the idea was floated back when folks forgot that TREES are a renuable resource......grow cut grow cut etc...
well for every 1 tree that gets cut in the forests now, 7-10 get planted in its stead. so what has taken place is someone is trying to ease their guilt as to not being green by ""COMMITMENTS"" to the saving the world by reducing carbon foot print, or carbon savings banks, or carbon credits, THis is accomplished by the act of foresters, logging folks replanting more trees than were removed. (loggers aint stupid, we need to replant so our next generations can harvest also). The idea and the junk science over saving the carbon footprint and reducing the green house gasses, has been proven junk science, JUST THAt when you tell a lie often enough and with the passion of AL GORE, Folks tend to jump on the global warming bandwagon........oh i forgot we dont call it global warming anymore.....its CLIMATE CHANGE........ahahahahah what a escape.
MY whole house and two offices, and a shop are all run off of SOLAR Power, and wind pumps my water,,,,,so im not boasting about the green environmental movement, i did what i did cause it works for me. but i laugh when the talking heads start trying to get folks to FEAR!!!!!
FEAR OF THE END OF THE WORLD< FEAR of polar bears dieing cause of receding iceflows, FEAR that we are gonna be washed away from the rising oceans... (there is NO FACTUAL PROOF that any of these things is happening, it was disproved and is still being disproved by 1,300 plus scientists......who were outcast when they stood up to the GLOBAL WARMING Crowd with the FUNDING for research. you protest and prove that its not real, and you loose your funding for research. but soon enough they will have a platform to voice their concerns and prove the global warming , climate change folks as fakes.....
Electic cars still require coal fired electricity to recharg them.....unless of course you have a totally off grid solar electric system.....but i hear folks at COSTCO, hooking up their electric cars and saying IM SAVING THE OZONE. but they forgot that some where that power was created (electricity coal fired generators etc...)
so they arent really saving the planet..
oh SAve your money., in the next few years solar power will be cut in half thanks to the smart guys in California., they make nanotechnolgy solar power.......really cool.

dont fall for all the GLOBAL WARMING , climate change stuff.......our planet has been changing since the creation of it. sit back relax and get to know your neighbor...
