I'm ready to start building a coop... BUT just found out Chula Vista has different rules than San Diego. Is it true I need to have min 7,000sqft lot? Mine is only 5,000, there is no HOA... If someone can pls help me found out more.

I did see the law
Up to 12 chickens are permitted on a minimum of 7,000 square feet of land, up to 25, on land where one family occupies one home. An enclosure is required, but must be no closer than 50 feet from neighboring homes.
