Khaki Campbell 3.5 week duck sexing!

Hey all! It is probably too early... But I am wondering if anyone wants to try to sex my ducklings. I have 4 khaki campbell ducklings. Below I am sharing a few videos of them talking. I couldn't get them all to speak when held so some videos are of them running around on ground (away from me 🤣) so bear with me.

PS. Don't worry. They got treats after this so they couldn't be too annoyed with me 😄

Duck#1

Duck#2

Duck #3

Duck #4 (ignore my daughter's opinion at the end we really have no idea what we are guessing here)

(also duck#4 because I feel like it didn't cooperate lol)

Thanks for any input!! Wanting to put some names with the quacks if we can find out what they are. :)
#3 girl

#1 i think boy

Coming on here to update: I ended up having 2 males, and 2 females :D
I had gotten two 3 day old ones from Rural King. When the one was about 3 weeks old he would let out a shrill whistle. Sure enough, I had a boy and a girl. Happy you were able to figure yours out. I am trying to rehome my boy as I already have two drakes. Good luck with yours. Mine is overly friendly with the gals if you know what I mean, lol.

Oh no! I hope you are able to find him a good home. Definitely don't need the stress on the ladies lol. All 4 of my ducks are really close, and follow each other everywhere. So far no issues (fingers crossed) but I know typically two females are not enough for 2 males.

If you have issues it will most likely be in the spring when the male’s hormones are the highest.

Since he is just three months old I wasn't expecting it to start this soon. His mate is already laying eggs and she is only three months old too. Thanks for the well wishes and Good Luck with yours.

Just curious, do you know which #s from your original post, where which?
Honestly I can't tell who was who from the original videos, but your picture of the feathers in the back ended up being spot on- and I'm thinking your original guesses were probably correct because you did guess 2 males 2 females. My males are obviously males now with the coloring and tail feather curl and just being overall bigger. My two girls are smaller, LOUD (lol), and more brown all over.

Thanks! I appreciate your reply. People seem to doubt the “feathers above the tail” thing but I have yet to have anyone find it wrong for Khaki Campbells.

I currently have a Khaki mix (3/4 Khaki, 1/4 Appleyard) who has been driving me crazy trying to determine if she is really a girl. She is quite large and really dark, like my past males. She is still peeping at 5 1/2 weeks old. But, she has two-toned rump feathers and finally made a “honk” this morning. So, I am thinking she is just a late bloomer. 🤷‍♀️
