Yes! I have had 3 females and they all have gone broody. You can really tell when they do they get cranky, loud, and stinky broodyHas anyone had their khakis go broody?
She is! She very rarely comes off the nest. She will come off to eat for a bit but not long and then goes right back on. In fact we did t want her to sit and I had been taking the eggs. She hid these back in the corner and made a nest between the nesting box and a cement block I had in the coop! She looks like a pretty dedicated mama!
I hope I have girls, I bought 3 khakis and a fawn white runner on friday.Yes! I have had 3 females and they all have gone broody. You can really tell when they do they get cranky, loud, and stinky broody!!

One of those was in a golden 300 bin. But I'm pretty sure it's a khaki lol
They are sooo stinking cute!! I would say the one in the back is your golden. They look similar to our baby Pekin/khakis with the yellow under its chin. Ours were black with yellow when they hatched. My pure khaki babies were solid brown. It will be exciting to see what our current momma will hatch out! I hope you have some females!!One of those was in a golden 300 bin.
