We have NO idea how this happened. Her bill looked fine this morning, there’s no blood and she’s still eating just fine. We don’t have access to a good vet for fowl so we’re on our own to help her. We did happen to see some blood drops on the ground outside that we could never source over a week ago, possible that she was injured then and something caused it to fall off today? I know tips of chicken beaks grow back but I suspect with how different a duck bill is it’s not the same process? Any insight? Thank you so much!

I don't know anything about chipped bills, but I'll tag some people who might know.

Aww bless, should heal fine may not fill in . Almost looks like something took a bite. Just me but I'd put some ACV into her drinking water. When my gander punchered his bill on something I added 1 tab per gallon of water. Maybe someone who has had their duck bill chipped can say whether it grew back.
