I have a Khaki Campbell duck that is maybe a year old, she was attacked by my dog that got loose, long story, but appears to be fine, that happened two weeks ago, and now she acts perfectly fine, although for a few days she was sort of stunned and weak. She did have a couple of injuries that I would call moderately serious, but they appear to be healing just fine. However now I am noticing a sort of white ring appearing around her eyes. The other duck does not have this at all, and it's only the last day or two I've noticed it. It appears to go all the way around the eye. She doesn't act unwell at all. Any suggestions? This evening when I put her up I will take a closer look and see if I can tell what it actually is.

Do you mean around the edge of the cornea? If so perhaps she had been bruised during the attack and the cornea is clouding due to trauma. Cloudy eyes sometimes indicate a virus in ducks, but in this case I suspect it's related to trauma.

Or do you mean around flesh of the eye? Any chance of a pic?

Around the flesh, and I doubt I'll be able to get a pic, but I'll try. I'll be able to get a better look at her in a little while.

Just an update, I checked her out, it appeared to be drainage of some sort, like what I like to call eye boogers, it's mostly gone away now, so I'm just going to keep a watch on it.

By the way, I have 7 Pilgrim geese and 5 more Khaki campbells coming by the end of the week, better bet there will be pictures posted. I'm stoked.
