I am wanting some ducks for our pond below the house. But I would also like to collect the eggs. Is there a way to let them free range during the day and collect the eggs? Or do they have to be detained in order to find the eggs?

We have chickens and one duck. The suck lays in with the chickens they're all free range and mostly lay in the coop

Have a nest boxing on the ground with lots of hay in it for the ducks.Ducks seem to usually lay in the mornings so just do not let them fre range too early.
