I have one question at the moment (have posted in managing your flock) because my red head has gone broody which has left my Orpington on her own. Is there anything you would suggest I do to help get her through? Red head has been sitting on fertilised eggs from neighbour for a week. Giving Orpington loads of attention, enrichment and she is free range. Still eating and laying etc..

Is she showing signs of distress? Where is the broody sitting?

No, she just seems lonely/bored. Broody is in a separate coop as she was frightening the other girl away from sleeping in the coop, she’s really mean!
