Kids - Don't Do Drugs!!!

See, Kyle, I knew I liked you for some reason! Good to see a young man with a full collection of brain cells; and who wants to keep them, too. As a teenager, I didn't want to be out of control and therefore, at the mercy of the dimwits around me at the time.
As an aside comment, I hate the restrictions on who buys pseudephedrine now. I figure it's just a form of natural selection. Let the brain-dead ones do away with themselves.

I'm not your average teenager. I can actually pronouce words over 3 syllables in length

Sadly, Douglas County has one of the worst meth problems in the country. There's only so much the cops can do, but around here, it's impossible to motivate anyone to take things into their own hands.

On a lighter note, Cynthia, do you happen to know which of the EE/BR mixes is laying the pink eggs? They're awful cute, and unlike anything I've ever seen before, but we don't know if it's Iris or Hazel. One's laying pinks, the other is laying slightly yellowish eggs.

Kyle, it's Iris! She lays pinky eggs, sometimes with lavender speckles! I just cracked open one of her eggs, the last one I had of hers in the fridge. I love those! Hazel's were always a yellowy-beige.

I can tell from your writing what kind of person you are. I love to see someone who can actually spell big words, LOL, especially a teenager. The education kids are getting in Fannin County is atrocious, according to my own DH, a substitute teacher here, former Air Force Msgt.

Its the peer pressure, fortunately I had an older brother and uncle that I saw coked up and almoxt anyhting else too, that i realized that was not what I wanted to do. I had plenty of friends that did drinking and druggin, and at first was asked to do with them fortunately most of my friends let it drop, some name calling because I wasn't MAN enough to smoke drink etc....... If that is what it took to be a man I guess I have failed, but can look back(hindsight is 20/20) and see the money that has been thrown away on booze, drugs, and even cigarettes, and I realize I would be a lot worse off than what I am now if I had spent on those things. I am not perfect (not even close), but think I did make the right choices not to do those things. Keep the thoughts you have and you will do well. Watch those in school that are doing these things and just remember you are ahead because your not wasteing you money on them.

My ex used to smoke pot all the time and it used to be his biggest priority. That's one of the main reasons I left him aside from some other not so nice stuff. He spent more time doing drugs than visiting his own kids and actually told me that it would be okay with him if our oldest daughter did drugs when she is a teenager..what a moron!!! Now I'm going to awfully worried when she becomes a teenager and she visits him on the weekends.

Well, all you have to do is talk to her about it. That's what my parents did with me. I couldn't even keep it to myself when I tried smoking a cigarette (nasty experience, never doing that again.)
