??? Maybe it is one of those strange location things where the dialect simpy does not translate. I've always referred (and heard a list of vacccinations) referred to as a "shot record".

Maybe it is a regional thing. Out here in SoCal "shots" and "shot records" are normal. Vets, Docs, etc all say "shots" here as well. "Is he/she up to date in his/her shots?". "When's the last time you got your tetanus shot", "The dogs are due for their shots"....vaccination record is too formal.

I've been asking (begging) my vet to spay and debark my teenage daughters.


He refuses. How am I to be a responsible parent that way?

I call it a "shot" record as well, and have referred to them as "puppy shots" more than once.

DH's son said something similar when he was DS2's age....

"Dad, I think Dark (the cat) is pregnant! I can feel the eggs!"

Yeah, we must have something in the water here on the Funny Farm.
