Kids should be more like chickens!

I am not a mom, but my lovely man has two.
He came with them and he is worth it.
Today I wish kids were more like chickens.

Pooping in the house, eating things that are not food, making the same mistakes every three days, waking you up, at 4AM by screaming at the top of their voices, getting lice and doing what you told them not to, just seconds after you warned them...

Yes, but unlike kids:

the chickens keep their poopy coop neat and tidy (we use deep litter method - which works with pine shavings in the coop, but alas, does not work with laundry in teenager's rooms!)

So yeah, I'm with you Tricia, kids should be more like chickens

But, if you are tired of the chickens "making the same mistakes every three days, waking you up, at 4AM by screaming at the top of their voices, getting lice and doing what you told them not to, just seconds after you warned them..." you can lock the door and go back in the house.

I had a rough day of it yesterday and was in the coop and garage as much as I could........with the chickens!
That and if a chicken gets agressive or just "p"s you off enough......you can always eat it. (can't do that with kids)

I must admit the Chicken Coop is a good please to escape to and I've gone there several times!
