I've never had an air conditioner. I just installed a heater, but still no air conditioner. My house is quite well insulated and I live in an area that cools down at night. Open everything up during the night to cool the house down, the shut it up for the day.

Yeah. I don't expect to use it much, but I'll have it.

I use paper plates all the time. Not for eating dinner on but I literally just ate a piece of cake on a paper plate. I do enough dishes as it is, I like the convenience of throwing it away if it's for something little. Anytime we have a family reunion or huge get together, we use paper plates and plastic ware. My grandma, God rest her soul, would make us all save the plastic ware and wash them to reuse them. She has been gone a long time now but we still do it. Out of habit I think

With a family of 6, yes we use paper plates quite a bit.

Only for parties. We use them rarely for normal dinners.

We keep paper plates and bowls for when the power goes out. That's it.

We have them for during power outages.
My daughter uses them frequently with her boys. Clean up is quick and they are very active in competitive sports (swim, golf, basketball and track). Allows her more time to enjoy her momma time with the family.

It's hard for me to understand people who do not own real dishes or silverware.
I do not understand that at all.
It's right up there with not understanding how people live without an air conditioner.

You don't live in a dry climate so you cannot understand the benefit of a swamp cooler.

People like convenience, I think.

Use a real plate and let the dog clean it. What is more convenient?
