It got down to 30°F at 4:45 Am an is now back up to 31°F. I was confident that the predicted low would not happen when I saw how overcast it was last night.

We made it to 14° just before sunrise. That was our low. Ah want my global warming back! Poo on this "climate change" .
But seriously... 14° on Sept 9th? So not right!

The worst one I had was the -9°F on April the 3rd this year. That one pretty much wiped out the fruit production this year.

We were going to have so many chokecherries. All gone to storms.

We've had SO much hail this summer. If we could have gotten our (brand new from last year) roofs replaced quickly enough, the insurance company would have been out three times (x2 roofs) in one summer. As it is, ALL the roofers are out several years. We waited two years for the last ones and it took them half the summer to get both done. I told DH we ought to have upgraded to metal, but noooo. We'd have been paid for them this year minus the deductibles and never had to roof again.

We just got finished putting a bazilion dollops of roof patching stuff on one of the roofs. The steep one isn't as bad, thank goodness. I am not motivated to climb around on that one even though the roofers did, with no ropes. I don't understand why I have no confidence to do that. Clearly it can be done.

It’s too far away, sadly. but maybe I’ll look into some other farms closer to me. This place had sheep, llamas, goats, alpacas, chickens, ducks, even a few bunnies! Basically everything I befriended one of the sheep but I forget his name already lol I have pictures I’ll post later but they were all beautiful. Even had two roosters. And all the animals were older so clearly well taken care of. most we’re above 10, one was 15, one was like 22
