That's scary. It looks so surreal. Here's a picture that shows it well! Not my picture, but this is what it looks like around here.

It's going to take a couple of years to get my house built. I got a cost to build report, and it's going to be expensive. I'm going to talk with the guys at eplans again today about modifications to the house plan. Then it's talk to a tax accountant about minimizing capital gains taxes on the rental I'm going to sell to pay for most of it. Then it's permits, permits, permits. Then finding who I want to do the build. etc., etc., etc. That's scary. It looks so surreal.

La Fleche is the name of an old, endangered French chicken breed. I believe that's the name's origin.I did. La = feminine
Try this:I had never heard of that breed eitherI think they are rare and maybe not even in the US???

Ya mean the picture didn't help? If they're still confused after that ... there's always Google!this kinda makes me wonder how many people here may not get the joke because they have no idea who jabber jaw is!?!?![]()
I LOVED marching in the local Christmas Parade. Between Cub Scout, Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts and Marching Band, it was a tradition - every year for 18 years. It always fell on the weekend of DD's birthday, so we made a big deal out of it. everybody met at the house and walked "downtown" together. Afterwards, we met back at the house for a huge pot of chili, fresh cornbread, ice cream and cake. It was fun! I miss it!I've been to many parades and been in a couple.I always feel like I ought to be having such a good time. Maybe I have an enthusiasm gap? I guess we all like different things.
