Dogs should not wear clothes at anytime of the year. It really does interfere with their ability to self regulate their body temperature. In particular it can prevent them from properly preparing for colder temperatures by inhibiting their hair growth. They don't wear anything when it's warm outside and mots of the time it's just for photo shoots. I never make them wear it if it's uncomfortable, too hot, or they just don't want to. Most of the time they just wear it when it's cold out. They don't have thick coats and their hair is kept quite short. On days that it's warm either they wear a lightweight tank top or something for a photo shoot, or nothing at all. they have a fan for their stroller and a doggy water bottle that I always take with them. When we're just hanging out in the house they don't wear anything.
Teddy absolutely loves getting dressed up. He spins around in circles and puts his head and arms through the holes. He doesn't like going on walks without getting dressed upI know, it's ridiculous. Rosie likes to 'pick out' which outfit she wears. Then she gets excited, runs around, and acts crazy.
My goodness, that's once heck of a summer!Big Tree on a now Busted run... (yes...this was the start to my summer, followed by a tornado, then a hurricane, then 2 more tornadoes). I thought I lived in Delaware.

Awww...thanks! Yes, all ok...humans and hens! I was taken back to the old Chicken Little story...the sky is falling! Everything is all cleaned up and repaired now. I'm just keeping an eye on all the rest of those trees you see....LOL! Hopefully the end of Summer and start of Fall will be drama free and just Beautiful. My goodness, that's once heck of a summer!
I'm glad that you're okay!![]()
Yes, maybe for a husky, but their coats are not like that. They have hair, very similar to that of a human, and not fur. If that were not the case I wouldn't have them wear anything. But they can get cold sometimes. Teddy tries to sleep under the blankets with us some nights when it's chilly.Dogs should not wear clothes at anytime of the year. Rosie always runs around like that when she's excited. She's never shown any pure signs of discomfort. The clothes are lightweight and fit them right. They aren't lose or baggy, and they aren't tight anywhere.Could it be that they just love the attention they get from you while being dressed and not the dresses?
Running around acting crazy after being dressed might just be her way of expressing discomfort.
Better to start it now and grow my business when I don't have another job to keep up with. I haven't done a lemonade stand since I was about 9 probably. Besides, I can get a lot more money by selling stuff on Etsy than lemonade for 50 cents.A business!? At your age!?
Dear goodness.
Whatever happened to lemonade stands? Did they go out of style, or something?
