FWIW I was able to find - on two different websites - the manual to the old machine I got when Gramma passed away several years ago. So its very, very likely your machines manual is just a click away as well. At the very least I'm sure a few of us could help make the search faster over the coming weekend as well given the experience I'm seeing in this thread -this evening. (Cheesy grin)If you don't have the instruction book, see whether you can find one online for your model. You really need the book. Machines are all a little different. It will have diagrams for threading the machine, adjusting the tension, explain how to use any special stitches, adjust the feed dogs... all sorts of things. I ***might*** be able to figure it out if I sat and fiddled with it, but you really need an experienced person to help you do that—or the book. The book is better.

This sounds as if Tater will be regaining her eyesight pretty soon. Fingers crossed.
