To each their own. I choose not to even try Ricotta Pie just like I chose to not try Buttermilk pie when Walmart was practically giving them away.

Mother in law made the best Buttermilk pie! She also made a great Vinegar pie. They were recipes she grew up with during the depression and dust bowl days. I have both of her recipes...hubby's comfort desserts.

Boiled pig skin cut in strips and then dehydrated are then cooked in hot fat to make hog bark...fried and crispy blisters of tasty goodness.

The whole get there early and wait today was to see if it is going to be worth it to get there early to wait or not.

For sure, but have you ever tried to drive with a puppy in the passenger seat? Now THAT should be illegal.

I think the most distracted drivers i see are parents with a rig full of brats. Dogs count as brats.

My Ol Dad would have been arrested and put UNDER the Jail...

On a family trip, the common driving protocol for Dad back in the 60's was to put us kids on the shelf like area behind the back seats and threaten to "pull over and teach us a lesson" if we got out of hand while he smoked a pack of unfiltered camels with the windows closed! Mom just sat in the front seat and giggled most of the trip...good times
