Whomever is marketing diced potatoes as hash browns needs a sock party right away.

Proper hash browns are grated potatoes, rinsed, then fried till brown and crispy in a rough formed patty.
Two eggs on top. Pepper and salt. Few chunks of bacon = proper breakfast

yes diced or sliced potatoes are home fries not hash browns
