/g33king out over your photos of the frontal cloud rolling.that sloping cloud to the right of the bottom image makes me wonder what was the panaramic looking like? was the anvil formed or even visible for you on the water?

Just had a hawk fly by but it wasn’t a very big one and I think was just flying by but idk. Momma was FREAKING OUT. So loud lol hawk was probably scared of her babies were good and stayed hidden. They only came out when she started doing her soft gentle calls instead of alarm calling. and even then they’re still mostly hidden.

Oh and also the OG mama quit like a week or two ago so the Auntie that I’ve mentioned before has taken over completely she’s also a far better mother but don’t tell Freckles I said that

I don't think I've ever seen a duck that awkward in the water before.

in general neither of them showed any interest in swimming but i noticed about a month ago that his right foot was turned inward and then about a week or so ago we noticed his other leg was injured (slipped tendon??) his condition worsened significantly over the last few days. we hoped that the swimming exercise might help, but i’m just trying to keep him fed and comfortable now until Mr Muddy can help me cull.
