Yes & No
Yes, I used to love driving. Especially for long trips. I drove at night. The lights in the cities were beautiful and I lived the wide open spaces between cities.
Now I almost hate driving. My vision is not as good as it once was. I rarely drive at night and seldom drive for pleasure trips.
On the otherhand, no one wants to ride with me so I get to enjoy some alone time.
I have chickens so I like staying home best.
Great poll @Kiki

I am guessing that you are referring to me here. I don't call you a witch even though you ride a broom.snakes...

Omg. I know what you mean. I'd think my DH committed bigamy but he's just not that charming.I don't mind driving alone. In fact I rather enjoy it.
Unless it's a long trip and he really NEEDS a break, I refuse to drive with hubby in the car, though. He's the worst bossy, cranky, anxious old lady in the world and we always end up in a fight.
I pull the truck over, get out, and stand there by the passenger door, arms folded, until he climbs into the driver's seat, still complaining that he's just been trying to help.![]()
There's a lot of people that can't and still do!I can't drive yet
not in my house. There's a lot of people that can't and still do!
Especially going over the Huey P. I bet. That bridge would make me nervous when a damn 18 wheeler would come blowing past me.I've been driving the greater new Orleans metropolitan area for almost 11 years 5 days out the week. When people ride with me I can see them getting more anxious like looking all tensed up and stuff. Kinda the look of needing to pee lol. Now when I drive where I live everybody drives so slow
For the record I dont spend but 40 in a 55 come on
My dad would drive it leaned over one handed in a giant 70something bel air passing garbage trucks. About gave me a heart attack. Its 3 lanes and super wide now though. Been like that about 10yrs now (maybe 20). And back when it was narrow you could tell people that was used to it cause they would move over a little for the mess up on the east bound side.Especially going over the Huey P. I bet. That bridge would make me nervous when a damn 18 wheeler would come blowing past me.
