We like to go to the farmers markets around here and the dogs love coming. Everyone comes to pet them and they get to meet the other spoiled dogs. Dunedin is often called dogedin because of all the doggos. It's not unusual to see them in strollers.

A lot of people have senior dogs that cant walk well but still need outside time. For my dogs they are just so small (especially when Rosie was a puppy) and they could get stepped on. It's hard to see the tiny fluff balls when there's lots of people. And the pavement can get hot in their paws. It also makes it easy since I often bring a toy, some treats, their water bottle, and my own stuff. That way we dont have to carry anything we but too. Or if we want to eat somewhere they can stay in the stroller so their leashes dont get tangled under the table.

Also they're just spoiled. Of course we only bring them in dog friendly places and when Rosie was a puppy and we couldn't leave her for more than 20 mins we would either have someone stay home with her or we took her in the purse if the people there said it was okay. Everyone thought she was adorable and she stayed quiet.

Oh man, that turned into a long post.

Back then you could bring your dogs and just leave them outside the store waiting for your return. They even had some metal rings mounted to the building walls to tie the leashes on.
I would worry someone would steal the dog lol

What does that mean?
My poor little crippled duckie (food) I posted pics yesterday??? He keeps flipping over on his BACK and can’t right himself so I have to go flip him several times per day until I decide to just “help” him
